Qigong Community Involvement

At Human Minded, we believe in holistic support and wellness of mind, body, and soul for our community beyond just providing natural pain relief products. That's why we're proud to offer Qigong classes in person and through Zoom as part of our commitment to promoting overall health and life energy - Qi wellness.

What is Qigong?

Pronounced “Chee-Gong”... Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movements, breathwork, and meditation to cultivate balance, harmony, and vitality in the body, mind, and soul through gentle but profound movements. Known as an internal martial art, Qigong is a holistic approach to mind and body well-being that aligns perfectly with our mission at Human Minded.

Why Qigong?

We understand that true wellness extends beyond physical health. By offering regular Qigong classes and training, we assist and empower our community to explore complementary practices that enhance their overall well-being and life energy “Qi”. Qigong can help alleviate stress, improve flexibility, boost energy levels, and enhance mental clarity—all essential components of a balanced and fulfilling life.

Our Approach

Our Qigong classes are designed to be accessible to individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Led by our experienced certified instructor, Michelle Polkabla, our classes focus on gentle movements, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques to promote holistic wellness and enhance our inner life force energy known as Qi.

Community Connection

As part of our commitment to community involvement, we offer Qigong classes both in-person and online, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate, regardless of their location, schedule, or fitness level. Whether you join us in person in class on the Monterey Peninsula or remotely in our live (or recorded) classes via Zoom, you are invited to join us on a journey towards greater energy and Qi health and wellness to nurture your body, mind, and soul.
